Envcares Eco Impact Network visits NTU Centre for 3D Printing
Even though I had previously visited NTU Centre for 3 D Printing, this second trip was also eye opening.
As part of Envcares Eco Impact Network, our small group gathered and saw different types of Additive Manufacturing involving plastics, metal and concrete.
From tiny thumbnail size rotating objects to prosthetics, it was amazing to see the many applications including a metal 3D printer with machining capabilities.
Amazed to see the huge 3D concrete printer, biggest one in Asia, so big that large objects were mounted on a carriage that could be pulled out on rails.
